Basic Purpose & Responsibilities

Technology  Lead with specific GraphQL experience on either Scala or Python. Scala is preferred. 

Analyzes, designs, develops and maintains software applications to support business units.

Requires knowledge of Scala, Python, Databases, NoSQL DB. 

Nice to have :   No SQL experience, CICD deployment experience

Hands-on technologist.  Expected to spend 100% of the time on hands-on development, design and architecture  

Work shift : 12 pm IST to 9 pm IST / 11 AM IST to 8 PM IST 

Should have at least 9 years experience in relevant technologies and role.

Capital Markets Projects experience is a definite plus . 

Interested in learning business domain and domain driven application Service Design; Guiding and assisting app project team with business service and component design and implementation 

Provides advanced technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule. 

Worked in a complex deadline driven projects with minimal supervision. Ability to architect/design/develop with minimum requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, scrum leads, developers and managers.
Ability to provide agile status notes on  day to day project tasks.

Technical Skills

Experienced, highly skilled in the following technologies as an architect/design lead and developer level. GraphQL, Python, Scala with Spark, NoSQL DB as added advantage. End to end understanding of software architecture, design, development and implementation.
Strong Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development.
Continuous integration and build process, test automation and deployment experience.
Ability to work in a agile environment and deadlines
Experience with evaluating, identifying, adopting 3rd party products and integrating them with existing business applications.
Ability to understand and grasp the big picture of system components.
Experience with adopting new products into the organization by quickly identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the product.
Experience is evaluating 3rd pty product architecture and design and documenting the adoption process into the organization.
Experience building environment and architecture and design guides and architecture and application blueprints.
Work with business in converging th business requirements with product features/capabilities
Experience working on product gap analysis and documenting the same.
