As a creative and social media strategistsupport to develop integrated, creative strategies and engaging content, and stays updated on trends and technologies to build brand awareness and achieve desired creativity.This role requires a blend of creative thinking for compelling content and analytical skills for data-driven decisions, often involving collaboration with design, copywriting, and marketing teams.

Position Title: Senior Graphic Designer

1. Communication Design & Creative Development

Objective: Conceptualize and execute visually compelling, brand-aligned communication materials across print and digital media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop marketing and communication materials such as:
  • Posters, brochures, leaflets, flyers, standees, hoardings, banners, and print ads.
  • Social media creatives, campaign visuals, and digital banners.
  • Packaging design, in-store branding, and event collaterals.
  • Campaign design systems, storytelling visuals, and integrated design campaigns.
  • GIFs, motion graphics, and short-form video design for digital and social channels.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment with client or campaign objectives.
  • Translate briefs into effective, innovative, and aesthetically engaging design solutions.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, account teams, and strategists for cohesive campaign output.

KPIs:

  • % of projects approved without major revisions.
  • Creative quality rating from clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Engagement metrics on digital/motion content.
  • On-time project delivery rate.

2. AI-Driven Design Innovation

Objective: Utilize artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to enhance creative ideation, design efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ AI tools (Midjourney, DALLE, Runway, Adobe Firefly, Photoshop AI, etc.) for concept exploration, image generation, and creative visualization.
  • Develop new styles, textures, and visual techniques using AI workflows.
  • Integrate AI-assisted design in brand communication and content production.
  • Share insights and train the creative team on leveraging AI effectively and ethically.

KPIs:

  • % of projects utilizing AI-enhanced assets or workflows.
  • Reduction in design production time through AI assistance.
  • Innovation index number of new AI-based concepts implemented.
  • Recognition for creative innovation (internal/client/industry).

3. Brand Identity & Campaign Design

Objective: Create, evolve, and maintain brand identities and visual systems for consistent, strategic communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines , color palettes, typography systems, and design templates.
  • Conceptualize and design brand campaigns that unify print, digital, and environmental touchpoints.
  • Translate brand strategy into cohesive visual storytelling and design systems.
  • Ensure all materials uphold brand integrity and communication objectives.

KPIs:

  • Consistency of visual identity across all brand assets.
  • Client satisfaction on branding and campaign deliverables.
  • Success rate of campaign performance linked to creative output.

4. Motion & GIF Design

Objective: Create engaging motion graphics and animated content to enhance digital communication and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop animated GIFs, short videos, and motion-based social media content .
  • Use tools like After Effects, Photoshop, or AI-based animation tools for dynamic storytelling.
  • Collaborate with video and marketing teams to create cross-channel motion content.
  • Maintain balance between creativity, clarity, and technical precision in motion deliverables.

KPIs:

  • Viewer engagement metrics (views, shares, watch time).
  • Number of motion-based campaigns executed per quarter.
  • Quality and originality of animations produced.

5. Team Collaboration & Mentorship

Objective: Lead and guide the creative team to deliver high-quality, innovative, and consistent design outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior designers and interns on design principles, tools, and creative thinking.
  • Foster collaboration with copywriters, digital marketers, and client servicing teams.
  • Review and refine team outputs to maintain creative excellence.
  • Encourage adoption of AI, motion, and experimental design techniques across the team.

  • Team performance and project delivery metrics.
  • Improvement in design skill levels within the team.
  • Internal feedback on collaboration and leadership.

6. Client Communication & Project Management

Objective: Ensure clear, timely, and professional communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present creative ideas, storyboards, and design concepts confidently to clients.
  • Understand and interpret feedback constructively for refinement.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Maintain project documentation and version control.

  • Revision ratio per project (lower indicates higher alignment).

7. Trendspotting, Research & Skill Enhancement

Objective: Stay updated with emerging design, technology, and communication trends to ensure creative relevance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research global design trends, styles, and consumer engagement patterns.
  • Incorporate modern aesthetics and design thinking into client work.
  • Attend workshops, design conferences, and courses to improve creative and technical skills.
  • Share trend insights within the creative team and across departments.

KPIs:

  • Implementation of trend-led design concepts.
  • Adoption of new tools, technologies, or styles in projects.
  • Contribution to internal learning initiatives.

8. Quality Control & Brand Consistency

Objective: Ensure every creative output maintains a high level of visual, technical, and brand excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review all creative deliverables (print and digital) for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Ensure technical specifications (print dimensions, resolutions, formats) are adhered to.
  • Minimize rework through effective design validation and proofing.

  • Reduction in post-delivery rework.
