Job Description

Job Title: Graphic Design Intern

Type: Full-time Paid Internship

Location: Hyderabad (On-site)

Duration: 3 months (possibility of full-time conversion based on performance)

About the Role

Dr. Reddy's Foundation (DRF) is on a mission to create sustainable social impact across India. We are looking for a creative Graphic Design Intern to join our communications team. The emphasis is on using design to tell the story of change across our initiatives in education, livelihoods, climate action, and agriculture.

If you have a sharp eye for detail, a love for clean layouts, and a hand for original illustrations, we want to see your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Channel Design: Create visually compelling graphics for digital platforms (social media, emailers, websites) and traditional print media (brochures, reports, event signage).
  • Original Illustrations: Conceptualize and execute custom illustrations that bring our program narratives to life (this is a huge plus!).
  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain and evolve DRFs brand identity across all visual touchpoints, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Collaborative Brainstorming: Work closely with the communications and program teams to translate complex impact data into easy-to-digest infographics and visual stories.
  • Asset Management: Help build and organize our library of design assets, photographs, and templates.

Qualifications

  • Ongoing or completed bachelors or masters degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across digital and print (mandatory).

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Software Mastery: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Illustration Skills: Ability to create hand-drawn or vector illustrations is highly preferred.
  • Visual Literacy: Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
  • Social Impact Mindset: An interest in designing for the social sector and the ability to handle sensitive subjects with empathy.
  • Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This internship is designed as a pipeline for our full-time team. Prove your mettle, and wed love to keep you on board!

We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from candidates who are visually bold, empathetic, and excited about exploring the intersection of traditional storytelling and modern digital design.
