ISS STOXX is hiring for Governance Business Analyst for Mumbai location.

Overview:

ISS-Corporate (ICS) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst or Product Analyst to work with our various business teams to develop and execute on our product roadmap for our industry-leading Governance products and services. The business analyst will focus primarily on supporting and enhancing an existing product line of Corporate Governance solutions, with the primary users being General Counsels, Corporate Secretaries, heads of Investor Relations, and members of the board of directors.

The ideal candidate will use their creativity and industry expertise to build products for ICS’s industry-leading products and services.  The Business Analyst is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, and for integrating various data sources and existing product platforms into a cohesive, compelling, and competitively superior set of services for our core markets. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with colleagues in Product and Project Management, Quantitative modeling and Research, Development, Client Advisors, Sales, and Marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed business and functional requirement documents and specifications.

• Develop product illustrations and prototypes based on an understanding of the user experience.

• Gather and decompose abstract and complex details/concepts into business and functional requirements that can be understood by the stakeholders including end users, developers, and testers.

• Drive a solution set across development teams from requirements to launch activities.

• Communicate with stakeholders regarding product releases and bug fixes.

• Assist in managing the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

• Solicit external market/client feedback on products through user groups, client consultations, and beta programs.

• Support the development of market-leading Governance products through market research and competitive analysis.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of progressive experience in product management or a related field is required; background in corporate governance desired.

• Demonstrated, effective collaboration within a cross-functional team using Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.

• Proficiency with MS SQL, JIRA, and Confluence preferred.

• Strong interest in corporate governance and sustainability, and a passion to make a difference.

• Decisive, logical and experienced business analyst.

• A strong work ethic and personal drive to achieve product and company goals.

• Strong leadership skills, able to work well in a cross-functional team environment.

• Ability to work successfully in a global, diverse and multi-cultural environment.

• Absolute personal and business integrity.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop inter-personal relationships.

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to follow-through independently.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently under minimal supervision.

• Market Research, management, strategic and trend assessment skills.

• Product management, strategic planning, requirements writing, and launch presentation skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

• Excellent project management and time-management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Information Systems, or related fields.
