About the Role
We are seeking a Google Cloud Presales Consultant to join our team and support enterprise and mid-market clients in adopting Google Cloud solutions. This is a pre-sales role, focused on technical solutioning, demos, workshops, and client engagement, to enable the sales team in driving cloud adoption.
This is a remote role, but the companys HQ is in Pune. Candidates must be currently working in a Google Cloud Partner organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Solutioning: Design Google Cloud solutions including Google Workspace, GCP infrastructure, AI/ML solutions, and cloud modernization.
- 39 years of relevant pre-sales or solution consulting experience in cloud or SaaS solutions.
- Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team with technical demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), workshops, and solution presentations.
- Proposal & RFP Management: Prepare and review RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, SOWs, and proposals, highlighting business value and ROI.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with C-level, VP, and senior IT stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and answer technical queries.
- Consultative Guidance: Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping clients align cloud adoption with business outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, delivery, product, and Google teams to ensure technical alignment and smooth deal progression.
- Pipeline Support: Support account executives in opportunity qualification, solution estimates, and deal strategy.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Current employment in a Google Cloud Partner organization (mandatory).
- Pre-Sales / Solution Consulting: 39 years of experience in pre-sales or solution consulting for cloud/SaaS solutions.
- Google Cloud Expertise: Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace, AI/ML solutions, and cloud infrastructure.
- Enterprise Engagement: Experience engaging with C-level or senior IT stakeholders.
- Proposal & RFP Management: Ability to create, review, and support technical proposals, RFIs, RFQs, and SOWs.
- CRM & Tools: Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar CRM tools.
- Consultative & Communication Skills: Strong solution design, problem-solving, and business/technical alignment skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.
Optional / Preferred Skills
- Certifications: Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Cloud Digital Leader, or Professional Cloud Architect.
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to BFSI, Healthcare, Telco, Retail, or mid-market enterprises.
- Technical Background: Knowledge of AI/ML, data analytics, or cloud migration projects.
