- GCP Billing 12 years of experience in Cloud Support, Revenue Operations, FinOps, Billing Operations, or Financial Analysis roles
- Billing experience on GCP or other consumptionbased cloud platforms
- Strong functional understanding of core GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Networking) and how their architectural behavior drives billing
- Ability to connect technical usage patterns to financial outcomes across projects, regions, and workloads
- Deep understanding of GCP pricing models, including usagebased billing, committed use discounts, sustained use discounts, and regional pricing differences
- Clear grasp of Free Tier vs. Paid services, quotas, limits, trial credits, and overage scenarios
- Experience interpreting invoices, usage reports, credits, and adjustments within policy boundaries
- Proficiency in SQL to query billing exports stored in Big Query and analyze usage trends or cost anomalies
- Ability to use billing reports, cost tables, and analytics tools to perform detailed financial investigations
