Location: PAN India

Experience: 5+ Years (Mandatory)

We are seeking an experienced Google BigQuery Data Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance data solutions within the GCP ecosystem. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in SQL, Google BigQuery (GBQ), DAG Composer, Apache Airflow, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced SQL queries in Google BigQuery
• Build and orchestrate ETL/ELT pipelines using Cloud Composer (DAG Composer)
• Develop and manage complex workflows using Apache Airflow
• Write clean, efficient, production-level code in Python
• Optimize query performance, partitioning, clustering & cost control in BigQuery
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and logging mechanisms
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and data science teams
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance in GCP
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and pipeline issues

Mandatory Skills (Strong Hands-On Required):

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Very strong SQL (Complex joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization)
• Strong hands-on experience in Google BigQuery (GBQ)
• Experience with Cloud Composer / DAG Composer
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow
• Strong Python programming expertise
• Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Experience with large-scale data processing
• Data modeling experience (Star/Snowflake schemas)
• CI/CD pipeline knowledge
• Experience handling high-volume production systems
