Job Description Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Golang. The role involves developing and maintaining applications using Go (Golang), and having knowledge of Angular will be considered an added advantage. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing APIs and microservices, as well as troubleshooting, debugging, and improving existing code to ensure high performance and reliability. Working closely with QA and other developers, you will actively participate in the full development lifecycle, including daily stand-ups, demos, and planning sessions.

The responsibility includes

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Review and debug code.
• Perform validation and verification testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve applications.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies.

Required Skill and Experience

• Excellent English communication skill to have daily interaction with UK client.
• Develop, maintain, and execute code using Golang and Angular (Basic Knowledge).
• Experience with Windows and Linux Systems.
• Understanding of databases MySql.
• Hands on Experience of a wide range of test tools such as Postman, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Kibana, ELK).
