The Practice- A Brief Sketch:

The Technology Strategy & Advisory team helps clients achieve growth and efficiency through innovative R&D transformation, aimed at redefining business models using agile methodologies.

As part of this high performing Technology Strategy and Advisory team, you will work closely with our clients to unlock the value of data, data architecture and modelling to drive business agility and transformation to a real-time enterprise. A leading Data Modelling Consulting professional, must have below experiences:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Modeling methodologies like Ralph Kimball, 3NF and Data Vault.

• Good knowledge of data modelling tools like (Erwin, IBM data architect, SAP Power Designer, IDERA) and related tools like MS Visio, Lucid Chart required.

• Ability to reverse engineer existing data models in Cloud DB/On Prem Environments.

• Experience in architecting conceptual, logical, and physical design of a production Datawarehouse/DataLakehouse environment for a business project.

• Good understanding of Star, Snowflake, Galaxy, Denormalized data modelling schemas.

• Ability to apply Physical Data Modeling skills in highly complex, cross-functional situations and positively impacts the organization.

• Develop & optimize the framework for ingestion, execution, and performance of the data model for a business project.

• Design the activities across the project team to ensure a logical data model meets strategic business objectives.

• Awareness and experience of at least 1 or 2 industry models (Banking, Retail, Consumer Goods, Insurance etc.)

• Prior experience in the migration of data from legacy systems to Cloud DB solutions.

• Experience in Cloud based EDW platforms (Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, Big Query etc.) and On-Prem DBs like Teradata, Oracle.

Key roles and responsibilities to excel at the role:

• Actively participate on design meetings, workshops to meet the data strategy objectives of the business.

• Work with Business to prioritize business needs and gather requirements from the business team and translate to technical requirements.

• Building and launching new data models that provide intuitive analytics for the business and its stakeholders.

• Should be able to drive the projects and provide guidance wherever needed.

• Work with application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models.

• Mentor/coach colleagues on Data Modeling skillet.

• Create industry use cases-based data model assets and POVs.
