Assistant Manager Remediation Inspection and Support Program
The role is within Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) Global Audit & Assurance Quality Risk & Regulatory (GAA QRR) team. This team is involved in a broad range of activities that are instrumental in assisting Deloitte Member Firms with audit quality, as related to their public company audit practice, as well as shaping the broader agenda for DTTLs support of the Deloitte network and its interaction with independent auditor oversight bodies.
Work youll do
The successful candidate for this position must be able to accumulate, maintain, examine, integrate, and present information regarding non-U.S. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) inspection activities including the following:
- Monitoring and management of inspection activities
- Compiling and maintaining inspection data and information in repositories
- Apply standard procedures in reviewing information related to non-U.S. PCAOB inspection support activities
- Maintain and enhance current set of tools, guidance and processes for non-U.S. Firm PCAOB inspections for the benefit of Deloitte Member Firms.
- Draft weekly and monthly status reports to be distributed to global leadership on relevant non-U.S. inspection activities.
- Examine and analyze inspections trends and prepare periodic reporting to DTTL Leadership
- Ability to research and interpret regulatory rules, regulations and standards
- Management of Sharepoint sites
Required Qualifications Education and Experience
- Strong skills of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint Sharepoint, and Power BI, with the ability to create effective deliverables to leadership.
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills in evaluating different business scenarios/outcomes.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate productivity and responsiveness during periods of high pressure or under short deadlines, including the ability to focus on details without jeopardizing bigger picture.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and projects and to prioritize effectively.
- Able to make decisions independently and objectively. Good judgment is critical
- Able to work independently and remotely, operating proactively with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Focused attention to detail in data entry, preparation and reviewing reporting, presentation materials and other deliverables.
- Experience successfully working within a cross-functional and cross-border team.
- Excellent communication skills able to communicate effectively via telephone, email, instant messaging tools, and excellent written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with various research tools and regulatory websites (SEC EDGAR, Audit Analytics, PCAOB reporting) will be an advantage.
Qualifications
Required:
- MBA/PGDBM (Finance/Commerce/International Business) and MCom
- 3-4 years of working experience within a professional services or multinational corporation and overall experience of 5-7 years
- CPA or CA or previous audit experience a plus

Hyderabad
Shift timings 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
