Global Procurement Analyst
Location: Chennai, India
Time Zones: Rotational coverage supporting Americas, EMEA, and APAC
Reports To: SVP - Global Procurement & Alliances
Works With: Inside Sales, Partner Alliance, Finance, Delivery, Legal, Marketing, Client Success
Job Summary
Drive the strategic and operational execution of IT procurement across global categories and client engagements. This role supports Tecezes Secure Sourcing PaaS by delivering cost optimization, supplier performance management, compliance, and seamless procurement fulfilment across multi-country programs.
What Youll Do
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
- Lead sourcing cycles across hardware, software, cloud, security, and services
- Analyse spend, evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and build category strategies
- Manage RFx processes and identify 1218% savings opportunities
- Build preferred supplier frameworks and competitive benchmarking models
Supplier Relationship & Performance
- Manage relationships with 300+ OEMs and distributors globally
- Run quarterly performance reviews and supplier scorecards
- Negotiate agreements, rebates, and volume-based pricing
- Manage escalations, supply-chain constraints, and EOL/EOS transitions
Deal Execution & Commercial Operations
- Process procurement requests and support pricing with margin targets
- Track FX, duties, and freight to optimise commercial outcomes
- Coordinate PO timing, stock allocation, and demand planning
- Reduce quote-to-PO cycle time through workflow optimisation
Client Procurement Programs
- Support procurement delivery for Secure Sourcing PaaS clients across tiers
- Provide audit-ready documentation and automated workflow tracking
- Conduct spend reviews, savings analysis, and ROI reporting
- Manage multi-country procurement with compliance and import requirements
Compliance, Risk & Audit
- Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, PO records, and licences
- Ensure SOC2, ISO, GDPR, and internal security compliance across procurement
- Monitor risks including supplier dependencies and geopolitical exposure
Process Improvement & Automation
- Design workflow improvements and approval automation
- Reduce manual effort through systems integration and continuous optimisation
- Maintain procurement playbooks, supplier databases, and knowledge material
Analytics & Reporting
- Build dashboards tracking savings, SLA performance, delivery, and rebates
- Run win/loss analysis and recommend pricing & supplier strategies
- Provide spend intelligence by category, region, and supplier
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 24 years in IT procurement, sourcing, category management, or supply chain
- Proven success in negotiation and cost savings delivery
- Strong expertise in networking, compute/storage, security, cloud and licensing categories
- Experience working with ERP/CPQ/procurement systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Advanced Excel/Sheets and BI reporting skills
- Experience managing global supplier relationships and cross-functional delivery
Nice-to-Have
- Procurement-as-a-Service / MSP / SI industry experience
- Knowledge of multi-country procurement and regulatory processes
- Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP or CIPS
