Senior Global Lead Recruitment
Reporting To
CEO and Board Members
Role Overview
The Senior Global Lead Recruitment will own and drive the global talent acquisition strategy across India and international markets, supporting large-scale growth for MNCs and GCCs operating at or beyond the $100M revenue or valuation mark.
This role is primarily focused on end-to-end recruitment leadership (90%) , with limited HR responsibilities (10%) directly tied to workforce planning, employer branding, and hiring governance.
The role requires deep expertise in global hiring, executive search, technical and non-technical recruitment , and the ability to partner closely with senior business leaders across geographies including India, USA, UK, Europe, LATAM, and GCC regions .
Key Responsibilities
Global Recruitment Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business growth, market expansion, and leadership hiring priorities.
- Act as the single-point owner for recruitment across multiple business units and geographies.
- Build, scale, and lead a multi-layered recruitment organization appropriate for a $100M+ company, including regional leads, recruiters, sourcing teams, and external partners.
- Partner directly with the CEO and Board on workforce planning, leadership hiring, and critical talent decisions.
End-to-End Hiring Execution
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment across:
- Executive and leadership roles
- Technology, product, data, cloud, and engineering roles
- Sales, services, and corporate functions
- Drive hiring from role discovery and market mapping through sourcing, assessment, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Ensure speed, quality of hire, and candidate experience across all hiring funnels.
- Personally lead and close complex, high-impact, and confidential executive searches .
Global Stakeholder & Market Engagement
- Partner with senior stakeholders across India, US, UK, EU, LATAM, and GCC to understand business needs, cultural context, and talent expectations.
- Advise leadership on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, market dynamics, and hiring feasibility across regions.
- Engage and manage executive search firms, RPOs, and staffing partners selectively, ensuring delivery excellence and ROI.
Talent Pipeline & Sourcing Excellence
- Build and maintain strong pipelines through direct sourcing, professional networks, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Stay current with emerging technology trends, in-demand skill sets, and evolving recruitment best practices .
- Drive diversity-focused sourcing strategies at leadership and senior levels.
- Maintain strong long-term relationships with senior and niche talent globally.
Recruitment Operations & Governance
- Ensure accurate tracking of hiring metrics, requisitions, and candidate data through ATS platforms.
- Define and monitor recruitment KPIs including time-to-hire, quality of hire, cost per hire, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, data integrity, and regional hiring regulations.
- Partner with TA operations teams to enable smooth onboarding and hiring transitions.
Limited HR Responsibilities (10%)
- Support workforce planning and organizational design discussions related to hiring.
- Collaborate on employer branding initiatives to strengthen talent attraction globally.
- Provide hiring-related inputs on compensation structures and role leveling.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience
- 12+ years of recruitment experience , with at least 5+ years in senior leadership or executive search roles .
- Proven experience building and scaling recruitment functions for large organizations, MNCs, or GCCs , including companies at $100M+ scale .
- Strong track record hiring across India and international markets , including US, UK, Europe, LATAM, and GCC regions.
- Demonstrated success hiring senior leaders in technology, services, sales, and corporate environments .
- Experience working directly with C-suite leaders, founders, and board members .
Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of technical and non-technical talent landscapes , including high-demand and niche skill sets.
- Expertise in global sourcing strategies, executive engagement, and complex offer negotiations.
- Strong consultative, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality, and scale.
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability.
Education
- Bachelors degree from a recognized institution required.
- Masters degree preferred.
