Global ERP Delivery Director

Location: India (Chennai preferred) | Reports To: CEO (US) | Full-Time

We need a battle-tested delivery leader to own all offshore execution implementations, AMS, and staffing. You will keep utilization high, margins healthy, capacity visible, and clients delighted. This is a hands-on, in-the-weeds role with full accountability for outcomes. No figureheads.

Delivery Execution

End-to-end ownership of offshore delivery: quality, timelines, budgets, and SLA governance that actually works.

Utilization and Margins

Own consultant utilization, project-level gross margins, bench management, and rolling 6090 day capacity forecasts tied directly to the real sales pipeline (no wishful thinking).

Governance and Visibility

Run weekly operational reviews, delivery dashboards, and escalation processes. Enforce rigorous estimation discipline and pricing guardrails before deals are signed.

Sales Alignment

Act as the final gatekeeper on every deal: validate capacity, skill fit, and profitability. Work hand-in-hand with sales/staffing leadership and push back when scope or margins dont make sense.

Team Development

Lead, coach, and grow delivery managers and consultants. Build second-line leadership and a culture of radical ownership and transparent communication especially when things go wrong.

Operational Improvement

Continuously tighten workflows, improve reporting, and deploy tooling/automation so delivery performance becomes visible and predictable across all regions.

• 12+ years in ERP/enterprise consulting, with at least 5 years in delivery leadership roles managing offshore teams of 40+ resources
• Proven experience running Workday implementations and AMS engagements for US-based clients (exposure to EMEA/APAC is a strong plus)
• Deep hands-on expertise in Workday (required); familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft is a bonus
• You have personally owned utilization targets, margin management, forecasting, and P&L outcomes not just supported them

You are disciplined, execution-obsessed, and financially fluent. You communicate directly, make the hard calls, and take ownership of problems instead of escalating them upward. You thrive on results, not recognition, and you dont need constant hand-holding.

5085 Lacs total CTC (base + variable), with significant performance bonus directly tied to utilization, margins, and delivery KPIs. Exceptional candidates will receive equity/ESOP upside. (Band will be stretched for proven high-performers.)
