Role Summary

As a Global Empower CDS System Consultant with Master Data expertise, you will deliver specialized consulting services to life sciences clients undertaking Empower CDS upgradation, harmonization, or optimization projects across multiple sites/geographies. You will leverage deep knowledge of Empower CDS architecture, workflows, and associated master data models to design, implement, and support scalable, compliant, and data-integrity-focused solutions in regulated environments.

Work youll do

1) Act as a subject matter expert (SME) advising clients on end-to-end Empower CDS architecture, configuration best practices, deployment models (single site and global), and system integrations.

2) Lead the analysis and redesign of Empower CDS master data (instruments, processing methods, project structures, user roles, controlled vocabularies) to enable harmonization and standardized reporting across client sites.

3) Assess existing Empower CDS environments, identify improvement opportunities, and propose fit-for-purpose solutions for scalability and compliance.

4) Design global master data frameworks for client projects, ensuring consistent approaches to nomenclature, instrument management, sample types, test methods, and access controls within Empower CDS.

5) Drive master data migration, cleansing, and consolidation activities, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory and data governance requirements.

6) Develop SOPs, work instructions, and data standards documentation reflecting industry best practices.

Qualifications

1) 46+ years hands-on experience with Empower CDS, with proven expertise in configuration, project setup, master data, and deployment in a global/regional context.

2) In-depth knowledge of master data management principles as applied to laboratory informatics.

3) Track record delivering consulting, transformation, upgradation, or large-scale Empower CDS projects for clients in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, medical device).

4) Strong client-facing, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and communication skills.
