Who we are looking for

Global Credit Finance (GCF) Loan Operations provides operational support to the GCF division of Investment Services. The Loan Servicing Unit (LSU) Assistant Vice President is needed to supervise a team servicing credit facilities on the Bank’s loan accounting system, process cash transfers and perform reconcilements.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As an Assistant Vice President you will:

  • Oversee daily loan servicing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Lead and supervise a team responsible for loan onboarding, maintenance, payments, rate resets, and reconciliations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Loan IQ, ensuring optimal platform utilization and identifying areas for enhancement or automation.
  • Train and develop staff.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Project Management teams to support Loan IQ upgrades, testing, and implementations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to drive operational excellence.
  • Provide guidance on complex loan structures including syndicated, bilateral, and agency deals.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (credit, risk, finance, legal) and external partners (agents, borrowers) to resolve issues.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure procedures reflect current processes and regulatory expectations.
  • 4 days work from office per week

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial loan operations, with 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Hands-on experience with Loan IQ is required.
  • Strong understanding of loan products, servicing processes, interest calculations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
