Job Description

As part of the Mid -Cap segment within the Global Corporate Banking, you are responsible for managing and growing relationships with public and private companies focusing on Indian home-grown clients segment. This group provides traditional corporate banking offering and products, as well as investment banking products to its clients. You will also work closely with our business partners include product specialists ranging from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisition, Treasury Services, Risk Management and Private Banking in identifying and supporting needs and cross-selling opportunities.

As an analyst in this team, you will assist the senior bankers to engage and support the deal teams and accountable for pitch book preparation and transaction execution, while ensuring seamless coordination among analysts, senior deal team members, and credit underwriting. As a member of the team, you will also play an integral part in helping to originate, manage and maintain client relationships.

Job responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess and review client profiles, credit transaction risks, structuring and documentation of credit requests.
  • Collaborate closely with credit underwriting team on client and credit risk analysis, structuring and documentation of credit requests.
  • Managing and providing support to the deal team towards generating continuous financing, corporate finance, treasury services, financial markets and credit opportunities.
  • Work in collaboration with senior Bankers to help originate and generate new banking opportunities from both prospective and/or existing clients.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum1 year of prior experience within Corporate & Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Markets and/or Treasury Services, with strong credit / corporate finance background
  • Strong credit, analytical, and financial modeling skills, knowledge of Corporate / Investment Banking products and preferably execution experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to be a highly motivated, productive team player. Partnership and collaborative mindset are essential as work will often overlap with various stakeholders such as industry partners, product partners and investment banking teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive; outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment.
  • Superior and proven skillsets in Excel and Power Point.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Participation in a Commercial or Investment Banking Analyst Training Program preferred.
