Job Title: GitHub Architect

Location: Pune / Gurugram

Shift Timing: 2-11 PM / 3 PM 12 AM IST

Job Summary:

The GitHub Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level GitHub solutions to support secure, scalable, and efficient software development workflows. This role involves defining best practices for repository management, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and integration with other DevOps tools while ensuring compliance and governance across the organization.

• Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain GitHub Enterprise architecture aligned with organizational goals.
• Has extensively worked with GitHub API.
• Design scalable repository structures, branching strategies, and workflow automation.
• Implement security policies, access controls, and compliance standards for GitHub usage.
• Ensure adherence to code quality, vulnerability scanning, and audit requirements.
• Integrate GitHub with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Automate workflows for code reviews, deployments, and release management.
• Define best practices for developers and teams using GitHub.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for GitHub usage.
• Monitor GitHub performance, usage metrics, and optimize for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GitHub repositories and workflows.

• Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development roles, with at least 3 years focused on GitHub architecture.
• Strong expertise in GitHub Enterprise administration and architecture.
• Proficiency in Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and automation scripting.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards for source code management.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
