Technical Requirements & Qualifications

• Subsurface Expertise:Advanced proficiency inGeophysics and Hydrogeology, specifically in interpretingElectrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT)andVertical Electrical Sounding (VES)to locate sustainable water sources.
• Lithological Logging:Expertise in backing up physical drilling samples withElectrical Loggingdata to identify aquifer boundaries, soil porosity, and stratigraphic layers for Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) design.
• Geological Mapping & GIS:High level of skill inGeological Mappingand GIS software (QGIS/ArcGIS) to create terrain models that inform the placement of biophilic infrastructure and biodiversity parks.
• Sustainable Water Management:Strong understanding ofAquifer Stress Testingand Groundwater Modeling to ensure community self-sufficiency without ecological depletion.
• Data Science Skills:Proficiency in Python (specificallyPandasandlasio) to automate the analysis of logging curves and maintain a digital database of subsurface assets.
• Field Management:Proven experience managingDrilling Operationson-site, ensuring high-quality sample collection and adherence to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) standards.

Education:B.Sc/M.Sc inGeology, Hydrogeology, or Earth Sciences.

Core Responsibilities

1. Site Assessment:Conduct end-to-end geological evaluations for projects in and around Bangaloreto facilitate regenerative living.
2. Infrastructure Design:Collaborate with architects to integrateBiophilic Designwith the sites natural geological features (e.g., using natural rock formations for drainage or thermal mass).
3. Water Security:Develop and monitor Climate-Resilient water management plans that utilize subsurface storage and natural filtration.
4. Team Collaboration:Act as the technical bridge between field drilling crews and the Bengaluru-based design team to ensure structural and ecological integrity.
