Geography Teacher

Job Overview :

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Geography Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, experience teaching across middle and high school grades, and familiarity with ICSE/IGCSE/ISC/IB or similar curricula.

The candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences, fostering student engagement, and maintaining academic excellence.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 35 years of teaching experience in a school, preferably in ICSE/IGCSE/ISC/IB or similar curriculum.
• Strong academic background in Geography.
• Experience teaching Grade 6 to Grade 12 preferred.
• Post-Graduation in Geography (mandatory).
• B.Ed. qualification (preferred).
• Strong understanding of ICSE/Cambridge curriculum is essential.
• Tech-savvy and capable of supporting the Lead Educator in administrative tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out the duties of an Educator/Teacher under the direction of the HOD/School Principal.
• Promote the aims, objectives, and educational philosophy of the school.
• Teach Geography across middle school and high school, including examination classes.
• Develop, plan, and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences.
• Inspire, engage, and enthuse students in the subject.
• Foster independent and collaborative, student-led learning.
• Maintain high standards of classroom learning environments and resources.
• Use technology effectively to deliver curriculum content.
• Monitor student progress and ensure strong academic outcomes for all learners.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise academic standards.
• Support school initiatives and contribute to the overall academic culture.
• Assist the Lead Educator in academic and administrative tasks.
• Enforce high standards of discipline and encourage students to achieve their full potential.
