Primary Purpose

To provide subject-focused instruction, mentorship, and academic support while fostering a safe, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that enables students to build strong knowledge, skills, and curiosity for learning.

Key Responsibilities

Lesson Delivery

• Deliver lessons as per the approved lesson plan, with relevant resources and learning activities
• Use effective pedagogical strategies tailored to diverse learning styles and student aptitudes
• Create a productive and emotionally safe learning space for every student

Student Administration

• Maintain classroom discipline as per school guidelines
• Encourage active participation and support positive study habits
• Ensure health, hygiene, and student well-being are monitored diligently

Classroom Functioning

• Build an engaging learning space using boards, displays, and student interest areas
• Maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents and provide regular student feedback

Administration & Policies

• Maintain, compile, and safeguard school records with confidentiality
• Implement school policies actively and responsibly
• Attend all meetings with the Principal and Coordinators
• Conduct quarterly stock audits for teaching aids
• Participate in professional development, workshops, and academic events
• Support cross-department collaboration when required
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Coordinator/Principal

Work Relations

• Collaborate with Principal for academic planning and support
• Coordinate with co-teachers, staff, Admin, Finance, HR, and IT for school operations

Desired Qualification

Graduate & Post-Graduate Degree in Geography

B. Ed (Mandatory)

Experience

• 26 years of relevant teaching experience (Geography / Social Science)

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in MS Office
