Project: UK Based Fibre Network Service Provider

Reports to : Lead/Manager

Roles Involved: Fibre Network Planning, Network Inventory Records

Scope of Work, Roles & Responsibility:

Analyze, create and plan top level company rollout strategy plans for build operations and assist all the way to execution
Knowledge on Spine and Distribution Network for an Exchange area.
Knowledge on Access and Feed Cable In-Built change request
Migrating all relevant company data into the database establishing a build pipeline process

within the GIS

Progress reporting on planning work activities
Owning, executing and delivering planning requirements within a geographic region
Meeting design specification for civils and fiber build.
Good understanding of network build disciplines, detailed network plans with work point

instructions.

Flexible approach in dealing with amendments to planned information
Ensuring accurate completion of all planned submissions and work is completed on time
Become proficient to highlight and escalate major design variances

Skillset Required:

Access Network Planning experience (FTTx) for UK Based Telecom Service Provider
GIS experience (QGIS Admin level) and need to be good at data analysis
Planning knowledge out to the homes, current telco access network topologies
Proven track record of planning successful projects
Ability to draw together different telecom technical disciplines
Able to communicate with people across multiple locations and at different levels
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and being PC literate - MS Word, Excel (Power Query)
Knowledge on SQL Server is an added advantage.
Knowledge on ARCGIS would be an added advantage

Experience Required: 6 months to 18 months.
