Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate *Full Stack GIS Developer* who can design, build, and deploy modern geospatial applications using either *ESRI stack or Open Source GIS technologies*. You will work on end-to-end application development including frontend, backend, spatial databases, APIs, and cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop interactive WebGIS applications using OpenLayers / Leaflet / Mapbox or ESRI JS API

Build backend services using Python (Django/FastAPI) or Node.js

Design and optimize spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial)

Integrate OGC services (WMS, WFS, WMTS) and REST APIs

Configure and manage GeoServer / MapServer or ArcGIS Server

Implement spatial analysis workflows using GDAL, Rasterio, Shapely, etc.

Build scalable cloud deployments using Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes

Work closely with UI/UX, data engineering, and domain teams

Optimize performance for large spatial datasets and map rendering

Maintain documentation and coding standards

Required Skills

GIS & Mapping

Strong understanding of GIS concepts, projections, spatial analysis

Experience with OpenLayers / Leaflet / ESRI JavaScript API

Working knowledge of GeoServer / ArcGIS Server

Backend & Databases

Python (Django/FastAPI) or Node.js

PostgreSQL/PostGIS or equivalent spatial DB

REST API design

Frontend

JavaScript, React / Vue / Angular

HTML5, CSS3

Good to Have

ESRI Enterprise stack experience (Portal, ArcGIS Online, ArcPy)
