About the Role:

We are looking for highly motivated AI Engineers who can design, build, and operationalize production-grade Generative AI solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure). This is not a research-only role. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AI systems that create real business impact. What You Will Do:

• Design, build, and deploy Generative AI solutions across AWS (primary) and Azure (OpenAI services).
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines integrated with vector databases.
• Develop backend APIs using Python (FastAPI preferred) to operationalize AI models.
• Work with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or OpenAI SDKs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ensure production readiness.
• Apply best practices around LLM cost optimization, prompt engineering, tuning, and evaluation.
• Ensure secure integration using OAuth2/OIDC, IAM, secrets management, and cloud security standards.
• Collaborate closely with architects, data scientists, and cloud engineers.
• Take ownership of tasks from backlog to deployment without micro-management.
• Mentor junior engineers where required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 38 years of experience in Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, AI Engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with: VPC, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Azure OpenAI, APIM, Azure AI services.
• Proven experience delivering Generative AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of: RAG architecture, Vector databases, LLM lifecycle & pricing considerations
• Strong Python development skills with production API experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Good to have skills:

• Experience with LLM observability and evaluation tools (LangSmith, MLflow, etc.)
• Understanding of hybrid-cloud networking patterns.
• Experience working in distributed/global teams.
• Azure AI Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
