Generative AI Engineer (0–2 Years of Experience)

Our client is looking for a passionate and driven Generative AI Engineer (02 years of experience) to join their growing AI team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who have a strong foundation in AI/ML and are eager to build real-world Generative AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.

You will work closely with senior AI engineers to develop, test, and deploy AI-powered applications such as chatbots, AI assistants, content generation systems, and workflow automation tools. This role offers hands-on exposure to production-grade AI systems and scalable architectures.

• Assist in designing and developing Generative AI and LLM-powered applications (chatbots, copilots, AI assistants, etc.).
• Support building basic RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines including embeddings, chunking strategies, and vector search.
• Work with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Qdrant, or Chroma.
• Develop backend APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask) to integrate AI models into applications.
• Assist in prompt engineering, context optimization, and response quality improvement.
• Support evaluation and testing frameworks to reduce hallucinations and improve reliability.
• Participate in fine-tuning experiments and parameter-efficient training (LoRA/QLoRA) under guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
• Deploy AI services on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with support from senior engineers.
• Contribute to documentation, experimentation logs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• 02 years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, or backend engineering.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI fundamentals (Very Important).
• Proficiency in Python (Very Important).
• Basic knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems (Very Important).
• Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings (Very Important).
• Good understanding of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (Important).
• Experience working with AI APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of Docker (Important).
• Understanding of MLOps fundamentals (Important).
• Awareness of prompt engineering concepts (Good-to-Have).
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing environments (Good-to-Have).

• Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with multimodal AI (image/audio models).
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes.
• Experience building AI side projects or research prototypes.
• Awareness of AI security, responsible AI, and data governance practices.
• Understanding of scalable backend systems and REST APIs.
