Job Title: General Physician Registrar

Role Summary

The General Physician Registrar will manage inpatient and outpatient medical care under the supervision of senior consultants, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuity of care in line with hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage medical patients in OPD and IPD
• Handle admissions, daily ward rounds, clinical documentation, and discharges
• Manage acute and emergency medical conditions as per standard protocols
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing teams, diagnostics, and allied departments
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in HIS/EMR
• Counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and outcomes
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and academic activities

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Qualification: MD (General Medicine) Mandatory
• Registration: Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration
• Experience: MD experience preferred (fresh MDs may be considered)
