Role Summary
The Medical Officer Occupational Health will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services at the Occupational Health Centre, managing medical and non-medical emergencies, supporting chronic disease management, and contributing to wellness and quality initiatives in alignment with organizational health standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary medical care, including diagnosis and treatment of acute medical and non-medical emergencies.
- Manage day-to-day clinical consultations and ensure timely follow-up for all patients.
- Coordinate with internal departments and specialists for diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of chronic diseases.
- Administer travel-related prophylaxis, vaccinations, and preventive healthcare services.
- Refer patients to specialists as required and ensure appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
- Supervise nursing staff and provide on-site clinical guidance and administrative support.
- Actively participate in wellness centre initiatives, quality improvement programs, and new healthcare initiatives.
- Attend internal management review meetings and contribute to clinical, operational, and process improvements.
- Ensure accurate medical documentation and adherence to occupational health policies and statutory guidelines.
