General manager/ VP- Projects

Position: GM / VP Projects | Utility-Scale Solar (IPP)

Location: Gujarat, India

Project Scale: ~400 MW Solar IPP

We are a fast-growing Solar IPP seeking an experienced GM / VP Projects to lead end-to-end execution of a large utility-scale solar project in Gujarat. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale solar projects (land readiness to commissioning & handover)
• Own schedule, cost, quality, HSE, ESG, and regulatory compliance
• Manage EPC contractors, multi-vendor packages, and large site teams
• Ensure strict adherence to PPA, EPC, O&M, and statutory requirements
• Drive design optimization, risk mitigation, and execution governance
• Coordinate with DISCOMs, SLDC, state authorities, and local stakeholders

Who Were Looking For

• 1520 years of experience in solar project execution (IPP / EPC / OEM)
• Proven delivery of 500 MW+ solar portfolio , including 100 MW+ single project
• Strong command over EPC contracts, LDs, performance guarantees, and construction risk
• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary project teams
• Engineering background (B.E./B.Tech ); MBA is a plus
