Job Description
Job Title: General Manager - Business Hotel (100 Keys) , Gurgaon
Company: Our client is a progressive entrepreneur managed Group with interests in Hospitality and Commercial Real Estate.
Job Summary:
The General Manager will lead all aspects of Hotel Operations, ensuring exceptional Guest Experiences, and driving profitability for a 100 Room Business Hotel located at a prime location in GURGAON. Revenue Generation and Relationship Building with Corporates in Gurgaon will be a priority.
Reports to MD.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Strategic Leadership and direction to the entire hotel team, ensuring the achievement of financial goals, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement effective business strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy rates, and profitability of the hotel.
- Oversee all Operational departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales and marketing, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure high standards of guest service are maintained throughout the hotel, with a focus on personalized experiences and exceeding guest expectations.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate measures.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners to drive business growth and enhance the hotel's reputation.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for guests and employees.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve individual and departmental goals.
- Prepare and present regular reports on hotel performance, financials, and other key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience :
- An experienced and hands on Hospitality Professional comfortable to handle a P&L responsibility in an Owner Managed/ Franchised Brand Model.
- IHM Graduate with 15-18 years experience and at least 3-4 years as General Manager/ Hotel Manager in reputed Hotels, preferably in a business hotel setting.
- Proven track record of successfully assisting the leadership in managing hotel operations, driving revenue, and achieving profitability targets.
- Flair for enhancing Sales thru personal efforts and building strong relationships with Corporates.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial management principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional guest service orientation and commitment to delivering a superior guest experience.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office.
