About the Role

MM Mithaiwala is looking for a strategic and execution-driven General Manager Sales & Marketing to lead revenue growth across retail, B2B, and distribution channels. This role requires ownership of sales strategy, brand positioning, marketing initiatives, and expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue
  • Own targets across retail (B2C), B2B, and B2D channels
  • Identify new business opportunities including corporate gifting, bulk orders, and partnerships
  • Drive seasonal campaigns (festivals, weddings, events)
2. Marketing & Brand Building
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns (online + offline)
  • Strengthen brand positioning of MM Mithaiwala in the premium mithai segment
  • Oversee digital marketing (social media, performance ads, SEO, aggregators like Swiggy/Zomato)
  • Manage in-store branding, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives
3. Channel Development
  • Expand distribution network (B2D distributors, retailers)
  • Build and manage relationships with corporate clients and institutional buyers
  • Explore new sales channels (e-commerce, marketplaces, exports if applicable)
4. Team Leadership
  • Lead and manage sales and marketing teams
  • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and drive accountability
  • Coordinate with operations, production, and HR for smooth execution
5. Customer Acquisition & Retention
  • Develop strategies to increase footfall and repeat customers
  • Implement loyalty programs, CRM systems, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Analyze customer data and feedback to improve offerings
6. Pricing & Product Strategy
  • Work with management to define pricing strategies and product mix
  • Identify high-margin products and optimize offerings
  • Launch new products based on market trends and demand
7. Data, Reporting & Analytics
  • Track sales performance, campaign ROI, and channel effectiveness
  • Prepare reports and insights for management
  • Use data to continuously refine strategies
Key Requirements
  • Strong experience in sales & marketing leadership (F&B, retail, FMCG preferred)
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Experience in handling multiple channels (B2C, B2B, B2D)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and brand building
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution approach
