Role Summary

The General Manager will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across business units, ensuring sustainable growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and superior customer outcomes. The role requires strong governance, people's leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

Oversee end-to-end business operations across sales, counselling, documentation, and client services

Align regional and operational objectives with overall organizational strategy

Monitor business performance through KPIs, dashboards, and structured reviews

People & Culture Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop Branch Managers, Team Leaders, and functional teams

Implement structured performance management, training, and succession planning

Promote ethical conduct, employee engagement, and organizational discipline

Client Experience & Sales Effectiveness

Ensure consistent and high-quality client experience across all touchpoints

Support teams in managing complex and high-value client cases

Strengthen conversion rates, customer retention, and referral-driven growth

Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with immigration laws, regulatory requirements, and internal quality

standards

Maintain documentation accuracy, audit preparedness, and risk governance

Collaborate with legal, documentation, and quality assurance teams

Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with overseas universities, employers, embassies, and strategic partners

Act as the escalation point for critical client and operational issues

Work closely with Marketing, HR, Finance, and corporate teams

Business Growth & Continuous Improvement

Identify new business opportunities, markets, and service enhancements

Support expansion initiatives and operational scaling

Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data and market insights

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree (mandatory); MBA preferred

10+ years of experience in Immigration / Overseas Education / Consulting

Minimum 5+ years in a senior managerial or leadership role

Strong understanding of global immigration and visa processes
