General Manager - MEP

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all Electrical, Plumbing, Fire-fighting, HVAC, ELV and MEP Design & Execution works at projects.
• Review IFC drawings, GFC drawings, design calculations, technical specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, design teams, clients, and internal civil teams for technical clarifications.
• Prepare project MEP execution strategy, design review notes, method statements, and work sequencing.
• Verify design calculations for HVAC load, electrical load, pump head, lighting, earthing, and pressure drop.
• Ensure design compliance with IS codes, NBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC standards.
• Finalise design-based technical specifications for MEP materials and equipment.
• Evaluate and approve MEP subcontractors, OEMs, and vendors from a technical perspective.
• Prepare MEP budgets, cost estimates, technical BOQs, and value engineering proposals.
• Prepare commissioning plans for HVAC, electrical panels, substations, DG sets, pumps, and fire systems.
• Strong coordination between civil, structural, architectural and MEP design teams.
• 20+ years of experience in MEP Design & Execution (High-rise, Commercial, Residential, Institutional, Industrial).
