Kumar Lifespaces is seeking a seasoned General Manager Human Resources to lead and execute the organizations HR strategy across corporate, sales, and project site operations. This role will drive workforce planning, performance culture, compliance, and talent development aligned with business growth and project delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and expansion plans

Act as a strategic partner to leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management

Lead manpower planning and recruitment across leadership, technical, sales, and site teams

Implement performance management systems with KPIs linked to project milestones and sales targets

Design competitive compensation, benefits, and sales incentive structures while ensuring cost control

Oversee payroll and HR operations for permanent, contractual, and outsourced workforce

Drive learning & development initiatives including leadership training, succession planning, and capability building

Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and industrial relations across sites and offices

Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws applicable to construction sites, including Contract Labor (R&A) Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, Minimum Wages Act, Building & Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act etc.

Oversee HRMS implementation, HR MIS reporting, and digital HR transformation initiatives

Build a high-performance, ethical, and engagement-driven organizational culture

Key Skills

Strategic HR leadership, strong business acumen, expertise in labour laws & compliance, stakeholder management, HRMS proficiency, and experience managing multi-location workforces.

Qualifications & Experience

Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

15+ years of HR experience in real estate/construction, with at least 7+ years in leadership roles

Proven experience managing large, site-based and sales-driven teams
