Job Title: General Manager FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)


Location: Bengaluru

Experience: 712 Years

Education: MBA / CA / CFA from Tier-1 Institutes with strong finance background.


Role Overview


We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented General Manager FP&A who will partner closely with senior leadership and CXOs to drive strategic financial planning and business decision-making. The role requires a strong finance professional with excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to challenge assumptions when required, and the confidence to influence leadership through data-driven insights.


The candidate should have strong experience in financial planning, strategic modeling, budgeting, and operational finance from Manufacturing background, any product-based company or GCC.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning


  • Lead long-term financial planning and strategic forecasting for the organization.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business growth, investment decisions, and operational planning.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate new business initiatives, strategic projects, and capital allocation decisions.


Budgeting & Forecasting


  • Drive the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts across business units.
  • Track financial performance against plans and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
  • Ensure alignment between business strategy and financial plans.


Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management


  • Act as a strategic finance partner to CXOs and business leaders.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations directly to senior leadership.
  • Challenge business assumptions and constructively push back where required to ensure sound financial decisions.


Financial Modeling & Analysis


  • Build and maintain advanced financial models for scenario planning, profitability analysis, and investment decisions.
  • Conduct Build vs Buy analysis, ROI analysis, and strategic investment evaluations.
  • Support M&A, strategic partnerships, and new product or market expansion initiatives where relevant.
  • Driving financial reporting excellence, structuring and automating financial data, building dashboards, and optimizing reporting processes


Key Skills & Competencies


  • Strong expertise in FP&A, strategic finance, and financial modeling
  • Strong in creating financial reports, data analytics, creating financial dashboards, process optimization, improvements, etc
  • Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Experience with Build vs Buy analysis and investment evaluation
  • Exposure to MES / MOM ecosystems
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Ability to engage directly with CXO-level leadership
  • Strong business acumen with the confidence to challenge assumptions
  • Advanced analytical skills and strong command of Excel and financial modeling tools


Preferred Candidate Profile


  • 712 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance
  • Background in manufacturing, GCC, product-based company
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership or CXO teams
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions through financial insights
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
