Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Long term and short-term growth strategy as per the Market dynamics
- New Growth & Power sales to Utility - Secure Projects offtake opportunities which are matched with risk adjusted return requirements
- Policy advocacy to get the right tender conditions
- Inputs for greenfield development of Wind & solar sites
- connectivity mapping
- cost benchmarking
- competition tracking, benchmarking
- Shortlist strategic tenders
- Bid management
- Budget Management and Controls to ensure target returns, project cost and timelines as approved is achieved, PPA compliance & IRR management till COD
- Identifying new trends in RE and integrating that in new business models/solution like offshore, PHP, BESS, Hydro etc
- End to End Project origination, project feasibility (techno commercial) and bid participation till securing PPA
- Communicate with all stakeholders within the company - incl. but not limited to Corporate Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Execution, Asset management - in identifying the cost structure and optimize the project (in terms of capacity addition in alignment with Company's strategic target)
- Communicate with External stakeholders and other market participants to identify risks and opportunities that helps the management to make an informed decision about the project
- Provide a consolidated report on the project opportunity to Management with all the tangible and intangible (Financial, Regulatory, Competition, Cost structure etc.) risks to enable the group in evaluating the project
- strategic relationship with key vendors, govt bodies like CEA, CERC, MNRE, REIAs, CTU
- Due Diligence and SoP Compliances pertaining to BD&C
- Regular update to management on key market developments
- Recommendation on Site ranking, equipment ranking, technology commercial ranking etc
- Closely work with Project Development team to get site ready for Bids
Desired Experience and Skills:
- MBA With 10-12+ years, with minimum of 7yrs in RE sector in Investment, strategy, policy, techno - commercial roles
- Team Handling Exposure and Excellent Communication Skills, Must have handled Compliances as per Corporate Governance Norms and Procedures, Dynamic and Leadership Oriented.
- Someone with proven track record of winning projects for the company at MEGA WATT level.
