General Manager - Asset Commissioning

Candidate should have:

• Experience in Solar PV / Wind System and their infrastructure.
• Ensures that plant start-up, testing and commissioning procedures are executed in a standardized method and observations/results are documented in a consistent format.
• Start-up and commission responsibilities will at a minimum apply to the following facilities/equipment within a solar PV plant:
  • IDT / Power trafo 
  • Inverters / WTG
  • Robot/trackers
  • Wind/ Solar trackers
  • Scada
  • O&M Building
  • Collection system
  • Switch yard. 
  • Robot installation
  • Module Installation 
  • Tracker commissioning 
• Commissioning head to monitoring of site commissioning & coordinate to internal / external stack holder.
•  Publishes original materials and continually enhances documentation surrounding the processes, procedures, responsibility matrix and tools to be used during a project’s start-up, testing and commissioning phases.
• Comprehends and ensures compliance with applicable environmental, interconnection, transmission operator and client rules, regulations, and standards. Capable of understanding and complying with the contractual terms outlined in various agreements and contracts.
• Tracks multiple work task schedules, provides schedule progression updates, and proactively identifies schedule constraints.
• Coordinates efforts of various stakeholders needed to work collaboratively on plant start-up and commission activities (internal resources, key equipment vendors, PV Plant contractor(s) and Substation EPC contractor).
• Drafts and prepares various forms of written communications to project management, subcontractors, and client technical support personnel.
• Prepares and maintains up to date files, records and reports on status and progress of start-up and commission efforts on our various wind projects
• Availability to travel and to stay for necessary periods in project sites. 
• Preparation of Daily Progress Report.
• Check the Control, Power & Scada schemes for all equipment’s.
• Coordinates meetings and presents reports to various Project Delivery and subcontractor team members regarding status and progress of project start-up and commission activities.
• Actively participate in and progress projects focusing on Commissioning Activities the optimization of the Monitoring and Control capabilities and data availability.
• Be an active member of team in which knowledge, experience and lessons learnt are continuously shared.
• Enable good working relationship and knowledge exchange with other teams within the renewables business.
• Interaction with consultants / vendors for expediting review of documents. 
• Ensure team working and quality output.
• Ensure the Pre-checking activities at site.
• Charging clearance provide the prior to commissioning of plant.

Education Qualification: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable Energy) or related field 

Experience:

• 20-22 years of experience in the Renewable Energy industry 
• Proven track record of leading and managing commissioning activities for renewable energy projects
• Demonstrated experience in performance optimization of renewable energy assets
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry best practices
