Job Overview

5+ yrs exp, Hands on in GCP, Bigquery, Python, PySpark

Good hands-on experience in Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and others.

• Experience with cloud-native observability solutions, including Google Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Trace, and Error Reporting. Hands-on experience integrating external observability platforms like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana is a plus.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Shell to automate tasks, handle log analysis, and integrate observability tools.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on observability within containerized environments.
• Ability to set up proactive monitoring strategies using metrics, logs, traces, and alerts to ensure system health and performance.
• Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve performance issues, system bottlenecks, and outages.
