GCMS Analyst /Technical Perfumer

Role Description

Creative Development

• Cross-category fragrance creation and formulation for various customer briefs
• Participating in olfactive RM studies for various product categories
• Creating new internal perfumery bases and accords
• Integrating the companys new captives in the signature and wins
• Developing and modifying fragrances that meet customer needs, while adhering to IFRA compliance and client requirements
• Creating new formulations and fragrance matching by GC-MS / Headspace analysis
• Creating cost-effective fragrances based on different concepts for different functional products in coordination with marketing briefs
• Creating winning fragrances at challenging prices, using the companys specialties, as per briefs/customer needs
• Matching fine fragrances as well as functional or industrial fragrances
• Creating new fragrances for products like Deo, Soap, Shampoo, Detergent, Body Wash, Fabric Softener, Liquid Detergent, etc., as per the raised brief

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Analysis and Analytical Skills for fragrance composition and quality assessment
• Expertise in Technical Support and Troubleshooting of GCMS equipment and other relevant instruments
• Strong Communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and for preparing detailed reports
• Detail-oriented mindset, problem-solving capability, and organizational skills
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
• Experience in the fragrance or perfume industry is a strong advantage
