Game Designer (Mobile Games)

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and analytical Mobile Game Designer with a strong passion for mobile games and hands-on experience in designing engaging player experiences. The ideal candidate is an avid gamer who also brings a professional design mindset, capable of breaking down successful games and translating insights into fun, scalable, and market-ready game features

Key Responsibilities

• Design engaging mobile game mechanics, systems, features, and progression aligned with product vision and business goals.
• Demonstrate strong mobile game expertise through extensive hands-on gameplay as an avid gamer and practical experience as a professional game designer, with exposure to multiple genres, core loops, monetization, and live-ops systems.
• Deconstruct and analyze existing games to understand gameplay loops, meta systems, monetization models, UX flows, and engagement strategies.
• Create concise design documentation including GDDs, feature specs, wireframes, flowcharts, and balancing sheets.
• Stay updated with emerging mobile gaming trends, player behavior patterns, and platform best practices.
• Collaborate with art, engineering, product, and QA teams for seamless feature execution.
• Participate in playtesting, iteration, tuning, and balancing to enhance player experience.
• Support live games with content updates, feature improvements, and event design.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong foundation in mobile game design including core loops, progression, economy, balancing, and UX.
• Ability to analyze top-performing games and apply insights to feature and system design.
• Good understanding of F2P monetization, player analytics, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience collaborating in fast-paced, cross-functional teams, with exposure to live games/live-ops preferred.
• Passionate mobile gamer with awareness of market trends, player behavior, and competitor products.
