Job Summary

As a Fund Servicing Specialist within the JP Morgan Compliance Reporting & Client Transaction reporting team, you will be responsible for providing post Trade Compliance & Reporting services to our pension & Mutual Fund clients based in North America and EMEA. You will play a crucial role in investigating investment guideline/regulatory breaches, recommending corrective measures, and promoting process improvement. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and portfolios, and to contribute to the management of approximately $2 trillion in assets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Investigate all investment guideline/regulatory breaches to assist clients in resolving breaches.
  • Review and recommend actions based on investigations to help fund managers take corrective measures.
  • Continuously improve processes by providing solutions to reduce false exceptions/violations and optimize operations.
  • Interface with onshore Operations and Operations Service Delivery (OSD) teams to drive process improvement and efficiency.
  • Provide solutions to minimize false exceptions/violations.
  • Offer innovative solutions tailored to client requirements, adapting to their changing needs promptly.
  • Maintain a strong control mindset to identify risks within processes and remediate them appropriately.
  • Ensure expertise in the function, deliver training sessions, and act as a "go-to" person within the team and with partners.
  • Be a logical, problem-solving, technical individual suited for the role.
  • Understand accounting platforms that deliver NAVs, which is advantageous.
  • Focus on solving technical and complex client requests globally as part of new business implementations

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Possess 5+ years of experience in the Banking/Financial services industry or with an accounting firm.
  • Have a good understanding of security types and their accounting treatment.
  • Be aware of stock market practices and data vendor systems like Bloomberg.
  • Understand the processes of a fund’s Custodian Bank and Investment Manager.
  • Exhibit analytical skills with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a committed approach and effective communication within a small team.
  • Show flexibility to support department projects and work overtime during peak periods.
  • Have team management experience, with the ability to lead, guide, and collaborate with peers.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with industry practices, product development, and evolving regulations.
  • Hold qualifications involving financial instruments, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
