Job Summary
As a Fund Servicing in the Managed Funds Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate recording of Private Equity / Unlisted Investment transactions and NAV to support our clients and fund managers within the Asia Pacific. Your primary focus will be on clients based in Australia and New Zealand. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Project and change teams to promote automation, ensuring an outstanding experience for our customers.
Job Responsibilities :
- Record Transactions and price / valuation received through Client, IM or Fund Manager instructions / statements into the accounting platform.
- Facilitate movement of payments received for the Managed Funds transactions on NOSTRO into the clients account.
- Clear of Cash daily and Asset reconciliations
- Perform periodic valuation of the assets including pricing and reconciliation against the fund manager statements / client instruction and ensure completion as per due date.
- Coordinate Asset and other static data set up and maintenance on the various internal systems.
- Perform Year End Income Reconciliations including Tax Deferred Adjustments
- Work closely with Project and change teams to drive automation.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills.
- Update accounting records using statements, fulfilling both processor and reviewer roles.
- Assess daily work allocation and identify areas of capacity.
- Act as the escalation point for Supervisors, aiding work verification during high-volume times.
- Record and monitor the Error Log Report diligently.
- Manage break items and aged items to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with controls and JP Morgan requirements, promptly escalating risk items.
- Mentor supervisors, aiding their development and training for senior roles.
- Revise SOPs and SLAs, ensuring consistent adherence by all staff.
- Comply with audit and compliance regulations, acting as the focal point during audits.
- Contribute to projects related to client transitions, system enhancements, and process reviews.
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all staff and client queries, both internally and externally.
