Hiring: Deputy Vice President / Vice President Alternative Investment Fund (AIF)

Hiring for a seasoned investment professional to lead our Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) division in Mumbai. This is a high-impact role designed for a strategic leader to oversee the entire investment lifecycle while ensuring rigorous regulatory and financial governance.

The Role

You will have functional oversight of Compliance and Finance/Accounts, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President & Head of AIF. You will be responsible for everything from deal origination to successful exits and investor relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Origination & Execution: Source proprietary deals, lead comprehensive due diligence, and develop complex valuation models (DCF, IPEV guidelines).
• Portfolio Management: Establish governance plans, track KPIs, and manage investor reporting packs (DPI, RVPI, XIRR).
• Divestments & Fundraising: Manage exit timelines, prepare fundraising collateral (PPM, DDQ), and lead diligence Q&A for investors.
• Regulatory & Tax Governance: Ensure strict adherence to SEBI AIF Regulations (2012), oversee NAV computations, and manage tax compliance including pass-through status.
• Compliance: Execute quarterly regulatory reporting via the SEBI SI Portal and manage annual PPM audits.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience: 1520 years in AIF, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Hedge Fund strategies with a proven track record of closed deals.
• Education: Post-graduate degree in Finance, Engineering, or Economics (MBA, CA, CFA, or FRM highly preferred).
• Certification: Mandatory NISM Series XIX-C - Alternative Investment Fund Managers Certification.
• Technical Depth: Expert knowledge of SEBI AIF frameworks, valuation methodologies, and tax mechanics (Sec 115UB/194LBB).
