About the Role

We are hiring for a Fund Manager to lead and manage Small Cap and Mid Cap equity strategies for a leading Asset Management Company. The role requires strong expertise in Indian equities, portfolio construction, risk management, and delivering consistent alpha across market cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Small Cap and Mid Cap equity portfolios.
• Develop investment strategies aligned with fund mandates and risk parameters.
• Conduct in-depth fundamental research and company analysis across sectors.
• Lead idea generation, stock selection, and portfolio construction.
• Actively monitor portfolio performance and rebalance based on market conditions.
• Engage with company management teams, sell-side analysts, and industry experts.
• Present investment strategy and performance updates to internal stakeholders and investors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Fund Manager managing Indian equity portfolios.
• Strong track record in Small Cap / Mid Cap investing.
• Deep understanding of Indian markets, sector dynamics, and valuation frameworks.
• Proven ability to generate alpha with disciplined risk management.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making skills.
• MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
