Location: Chennai Olympia Tech Park (Hybrid Mode)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Functional Testing Engineer with strong exposure to the Banking domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API testing and SQL, along with a solid understanding of banking processes and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end Functional Testing for banking applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on business requirements.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.
• Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.

Key Skills:

• 46 years of experience in Functional Testing.
• Strong experience in Banking domain (Retail/Corporate/Payments/Loans, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in API Testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience in defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar).
• Good understanding of SDLC & STLC.
