Job Description

ACL Digital is hiring an experienced Functional Safety (FuSa) Engineer with Cybersecurity expertise to support safety-critical embedded and automotive programs. The role focuses on ISO 26262 functional safety and ISO/SAE 21434 cybersecurity compliance , working closely with system, hardware, and software teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Functional Safety lifecycle activities as per ISO 26262
• Perform HARA , define FSC & TSC , and support ASIL decomposition
• Conduct safety analyses: FMEA, FMEDA, FTA
• Define, review, and track safety requirements and work products
• Perform Cybersecurity Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment (TARA)
• Support implementation of cybersecurity concepts aligned with ISO/SAE 21434
• Identify safety and security risks; recommend mitigation strategies
• Review safety & cybersecurity documentation and support audits
• Collaborate with system, HW, SW, validation, and customer teams
• Support safety and cybersecurity assessments and customer reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Functional Safety engineering
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ISO 26262 (System / HW / SW)
• Experience in HARA, FMEA, FMEDA, FTA
• Solid understanding of Cybersecurity concepts for embedded systems
• Working knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434
• Experience with safety mechanisms and secure system architecture
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Good to Have

• Automotive ECU / SoC project experience
• Exposure to AUTOSAR (Classic / Adaptive)
• Knowledge of secure boot, cryptography, IDS
• TV / Exida Functional Safety or Cybersecurity certification
