Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and optimize test strategies and comprehensive test plans. This includes establishing quality standards and procedures for the team.
Oversee and monitor all testing activities, manage test cycles, and ensure the execution of both manual and automated tests.
Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Ensure that quality standards are integrated throughout the product lifecycle, from planning to release.
Work closely with other departments like development and product management to align quality goals with project timelines.
Monitor and analyze key quality metrics to track performance and report on progress and issues to stakeholders.
Identify and implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of quality issues and streamline testing workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
Proficiency in various testing methodologies (manual and automated), modern testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit), and programming languages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly document issues and interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong leadership qualities, including delegation, conflict resolution, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects and drive quality initiatives.
A solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various quality assurance methodologies.
