Functional Consultant (SAP BW HANA)

Work Location : Bangalore , Hyderabad, Chennai

Years of exp : 6 to 12 Yrs

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW HANA Consultant with strong expertise in BW data modeling, reporting, and transformation techniques. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP BW 7.5 on HANA or higher, and a deep understanding of SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, and IM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop BW data models on SAP BW 7.5 on HANA or higher.
• Create BEx queries and develop frontend reporting using Analysis for Office (AFO).
• Implement AMDP coding for BW transformations to optimize performance.
• Perform SAP Inventory Management BW extractions, including stock movements and balances.
• Utilize SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, IM extractors for BW modeling and reporting.
• Develop Calculation Views using GUI and scripting techniques.
• Apply ABAP programming for BW transformations, custom extractors, and BADI enhancements.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP BW and HANA.
• Strong proficiency in BW data modeling, AMDP, and ABAP.
• Experience with SAP Inventory Management and related BW extractions.
• Familiarity with SAP modules: FI/CO, MM, SD, IM.
• Hands-on experience with Analysis for Office (AFO) and BEx queries.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP BW HANA Certification.
• Experience in S/4HANA environments.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus.
