Function Development Specialist

Tasks: 

•Ownership for High Voltage Power Supply functionality or charging functionality in vehicle controller

•Creation of Requirement/Specifications for the applicable domain.

•Analysis of Vehicle/System requirements and creating functional requirements. 

•Developing functions and control algorithms  

•Understanding the existing functionality and modifying based on required system changes. 

•Vehicle issue analysis and solution proposal. 

•Value addition without impacting delivery responsibilities

•Reviews and error optimization

•Developing of methods, tooling and acceptance criteria.

•Plan, develop and test software for Different vehicle functions

•Working in Agile way, Documenting work accurately

Must Have:

•Good experience and expertise of High Voltage Power Supply system or Charging System and software functionality 

•Experience in the development of electronic automotive control units

•Extensive programming knowledge (e.g. model-based development with Matlab-Simulink, Target-Link, C and Embedded C etc.)

•Good Experience of embedded software Development and real-time operating systems

•Working experience on ISO26262 PART6

•Sound knowledge of controls strategies development

•Good understanding of various development Processes related to E&E

•Strong knowledge in automotive electronics and product development

•Good analytical skills and logic building ability

•Understanding of sensors and actuators functioning. 

•Creating and Performing functional tests on logic(MIL,SIL,PIL Tests)

•Knowledge of AUTOSAR and Software Architectures

•Clear understanding of automotive communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.)

•Debugging and Analyzing Test bench or Vehicle logs with CANOE, CANAPE, Control Desk etc. 

•On-Board and Off board diagnostics development 

•Knowledge of performing root cause analysis for bugs reported in various test is advantageous 

Good to Have: 

•Reliable and precise way of working

•Email Writing and Presentation creations skills 

•Able to handle Version and requirement management tools like JIRA, Confluence etc.

•Ability to work independently and in a goal-oriented manner

•Communicative and team-oriented personality

•Knowledge or prior experience in automotive systems is advantageous.
