What would you do? Summary: The Vendor Master Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing vendor data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in vendor-related processes. This role involves maintaining vendor master records, performing data analysis, identifying trends and patterns, and supporting various business functions with vendor-related inquiries and reporting. The Vendor Master Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing vendor data management processes and facilitating informed decision-making across the organization. Vendor Master Data Management: Manage vendor master records in the organization s systems, including vendor setup, maintenance, and updates. Review and validate vendor information provided by stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and quality checks to identify and correct data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and duplicates. Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform data analysis on vendor-related information to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement. Generate reports and dashboards to track vendor performance, spending patterns, and compliance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
What are we looking for? Process Improvement and Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline vendor data management processes and enhance system functionality. Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency gains in vendor-related workflows. Implement best practices and controls to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Vendor Relations and Support: Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for vendor master data inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution. Liaise with internal stakeholders, including procurement, accounts payable, and finance teams, to address vendor-related issues and facilitate vendor onboarding and offboarding processes. Provide training, guidance, and support to end-users on vendor master data processes, system usage, and data quality standards
