Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer II (SDE-2) , you will work on designing and developing scalable backend systems using PHP frameworks such as CakePHP, Laravel, Yii, or Phalcon. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient, high-performance, and maintainable software solutions that power retail operations across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Architect and implement efficient, scalable systems ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code performance is key, as we process millions of API jobs daily.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
• Partner with QA to plan and execute robust testing strategies.
• Contribute to infrastructure scaling and performance optimization.
• Work in an Agile environment with daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in PHP 5+ using frameworks like CakePHP, Laravel, Yii, or Phalcon .
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with MySQL (queries, schema design, performance tuning).
• 2+ years of exp Angular.js , React.js , or Vue.js for frontend development.
• Strong command of HTML5 , CSS3 , and responsive design principles.
• Education: BE/ B.Tech /ME / M.Tech /BCA /MCA (or equivalent).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Git , Jenkins , or other CI/CD tools .
• Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Redis , NoSQL , or Elasticsearch .
• Experience with additional languages such as Python or Node.js .
