Full Stack Java Developer

Your role

Have you successfully developed solutions for large-scale Cloud adoption projects? Are you confident in delivering the objectives within highly complex projects?

We're looking for Distributed developer to:

• the successful candidate will have strong experience in building and understanding Business, Technology and Functional Requirements and scope the project
• running workshops with client SMEs to understand the end-to-end business process.
• engage with Operations and IT teams to develop and deliver change projects successfully
• be the liaison between the business units, technology and support teams through the lifecycle of a change request/ project including a fool-proof testing plan
• post implementation review and management reporting.
• should be able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of constantly changing business priorities.
• experienced in using agile/scrum practices.

Your team

You’ll be working in the GWM Operations Americas IT team in Pune, India. We analyze, develop and deliver solutions to maintain or change our IT systems with our business counterparts. As a Senior full Stack developer, you'll play an important role in application modernization journey for the wider team, which involves migrating existing and building new solution on Azure cloud. Your expertise

• implementing projects through all SDLC phases (Functional and non-functional requirements gathering, analysis, estimation, build, unit testing, SIT (System and Integration testing), Regression testing, pre and post implementation support) and collaborate with different teams like Application Development teams, QA, Business Analysts, Business, Operations teams, DBAs etc.
• understand AS-IS business process flows and make changes as per requirements
• technical Skillset: Back-End: Core Java, J2EE; Framework: (Spring Core, Spring boot, Microservices, Hibernate, Struts); Web Services: (Rest Jersey/Spring Rest & SOAP web service, WSDL), MQ, KAFKA; Servers: Apache Tomcat, WebSphere; DB: Oracle/Sybase/DB2, PL/SQL; Tools: GitHub, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Autosys, Elasticsearch, SOAP U

Good to Have skills :

• front-end: (HTML/CSS, JAVASCRIPT, AJAX, NodeJS, ReactJS)
• understanding of Azure architecture and created solution using them
• monitoring and toning the CI environment to ensure high availability, efficiency, scalability and traceability
• expanding the adoption and integration of CI build chain – improving degree of automation for repetitive tasks and reporting
• reference Implementation for latest Azure offerings that matches business requirement and focusing on Azure Subscription Cost Optimization, Policy, Governance best practices
